   Missing hinge pin. But 5 stars anyway.

   Pros: This is an awesome waffle maker. It is supper fast and makes perfect waffles.

   Cons: I had to exchange the first one because a pin was missing from part of the hinge on the right side of the unit.

   I still gave it 5 stars, because it makes such great waffles.

   Waffles just like in Europe!
   
   I love this waffle iron. It has a good variety of settings for baking waffles and everybody gets his favorite. Waffles bake very fast if set on the “crunchy outside/moist interior” setting and come out perfect every time. At first I had to figure out how much dough can be poured in without spilling over and it was much less than I thought. Even if it spills it is a easy clean up. Now I admit its a little costly, but well worth it. I highly recommend it. For those who think it is too small: the quick baking time really makes up for that and this is pretty much the standard size for this waffle type.

   Perfect for Norwegian Waffles!

   We bought this product because our old norwegian waffle iron was pretty much dead. We also based our purchase on reading other reviews. And it lived up to the praise! The two baking settings are wonderful and really do work. The beep is rather loud, but we found that beneficial since during breakfast we don’t like to stand in one place. They really do finish baking in 90 seconds too! All around an amazing product and very heavily endorsed by norwegians and americans alike!

   I had just returned from a trip to Norway. There, waffles are served anytime of the day. We even had them for lunch at the mall. When I returned, I had to have my own waffle maker. Of course, it had to be an iron that made the hearts. After researching the reviews on Amazon, This one was perfect. I absolutely love it and would recommend it to anyone.

   Great European style waffles

   Just as it claims, this waffle iron makes perfect waffles very quickly. Be aware, though, that these are thin waffles, rather than the traditional American waffle, so you’ll be making more than you usually do to feed a hungry family. They’re very pretty waffles, though. Just thinner than what I was expecting. (Although Belgian waffles are too thick.)

   FAST Waffles

   I bought this waffle maker for our Easter strawberry waffle breakfast. We feed a lot of people every year, and our old traditional waffle maker broke. I read a review that the waffles came out so fast that a second waffle maker was unnecessary, so I just bought the one. They were right! (We had a belgian waffle maker cooking too, but the thin ones were more popular and, of course, numerous.)

   I was a little disappointed that the iron did not seem to cook the waffles evenly, but nobody complained about the finished product. I expect this iron will be the one we use most frequently. It will be especially good if we want to make our own waffle cones for ice cream.

   Just one more note: frozen waffles come out better if you use a thicker traditional or belgian-style waffle iron.
